As mentioned earlier in my previous blog, our group have decided to base the story of our film around the film Obsessed with our own added tweaks and twist to make it original. The title of our short opening film is still unknown at the moment but we are in the process of coming up with one as a group.

The synopsis:  The story entails the 4 characters that were previously mentioned, as for the moment A,B,C & D.  A, B & D are a group of close friends. A&D are in 'Thee' perfect relationship, little do they know, B has loved D for a very long time and may have a slight obsession with her. C is an acquaintance to the group who is crushing on B, who is completely uninterested with this situation. Tragically D is murdered. But who murdered her ? & Why ?

Our Groups Audience Theory of our 

thriller.

The Age for our thriller is compulsory, its has to be age rated 15.

Gender: Both, our group decided that our film would attract both males and females because the genre thriller naturally attracts males, however we think our thriller would predominantly be watched by females because it is based around love and envious relationships.

The Location would be the UK because of the obvious scenery and content.

When it comes to defining audiences....

Our group feel that these following audiences will be appropriate for our thriller:-

Income bracket/status: 

In this category class C-E would be appropriate because upper class audiences probably would not be interested in the genre or subject matter and the fact that it would be amateur filming would make it less appealing to the A to B class (upper class)

Young and Rubicams:

From this category we believe that succeeders and reformers would be drawn to are short film, due to their status and self control and having their own mindset. Mainstreamers would not be interested in our amateur filming for the obvious reasons of not having most of the population watching our short film, the same reasons apply to aspirers.

VALS:

Experiencers would probably be the only audience that would be attracted to our film because of being young and enthusiastic which gives them the edge to look for something new.

Life Matrix:

Struggling singles would probably have an interest in the genre for the same reason as Tribe wired would because of being free spirited and up for trying new things, Fun/Atics  would be another targeted audience because of being fun-seeking.
